Morgan and Connor met in a production of Heathers: The Musical in 2017. Morgan was in her sophomore year of college at DePaul University, having moved from Los Angeles, and Connor was in his freshman year, hailing from Colorado. She was directing the musical and, lucky for both of them, he happened to audition. He got one of the lead roles, meaning Connor and Morgan would spend much time together. On October 2, 2017, Morgan asked Connor out on a date to the local ice cream parlor, Jeni's, and from there, they hit it off.

The rest was history. They quickly knew that they loved each other and said it to each other after a month and a half of dating. Morgan and Connor both introduced each other to the family.

For many years, Morgan and Connor were happily together. Once Connor graduated from college, in 2021, they moved in together. They discussed weddings and went ring shopping in 2023, where Connor secretly bought a ring for Morgan. After two whole months of teasing and impatience (literally leaving the ring on our desk), Connor proposed (not so secretly, but still very romantic) to Morgan at their local park, Winnemac Park.
